Arcadis has been brought on board in a consultancy capacity for the Airedale, Royal Cornwall and Aintree hospital renewal schemes.
Arcadis has been selected as trust cost advisor for the £1.5b Airedale new hospital redevelopment programme. This appointment will see Arcadis support the production of the business case, working in collaboration with a number of other firms. The new facility will replace the existing hospital, whose widespread reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) panels are crumbling.
Arcadis has been selected as cost manager for the new women’s and children’s hospital project in Cornwall as part of the government’s new hospital programme. Arcadis will be responsible for ensuring that this 20,000 sqm project is delivered efficiently and within budget.
Finally, Arcadis is part of the team on the proposed 9,300 sqm expansion at Aintree University Hospital in Fazakerley, in partnership with IHP, WSP, Appletons, AJP, Hoare Lea, GRM, Eddisons, and Iteriad.
