Among the exhibitors at SDP’s Meet the Buyer North will be Balfour Beatty, which is looking for suppliers for its Netherton hub energy project in Peterhead and will be discussing opportunities.
Other contractors exhibiting include Murphy, Ogilvie Construction and Robertson Facilities Management. Buyers from local authorities and public sector clients have also booked stands.
The Netherton hub project is a strategic electricity transmission hub that Balfour Beatty is building for SSEN. It includes a 400kV AC substation, 132kV AC substation, two HVDC converter stations, a transmission hall, warehousing and an operations base.
