Joint venture developers Prescient Capital and Asset Capital secured planning consent for the redevelopment in 2023 with Prescient subsequently taking over 100% of the project.
The design of 31 Wellington Street has been led by DLA Architects, which previously designed some of Leeds’s most prominent office buildings. DLA is supported by civil/structural engineer Roscoe and building services engineer Thornley & Lumb.
Site preparation works have started with the demolition due to start from this September and project completion anticipated by July 2027, which is more than a year behind the programme when we last reported on this scheme.
