Winvic Group turnover passed £1bn for the first time last year and it completed its millionth square foot of industrial space.

In the year to 31st January 2025, Winvic Group turned over £1,017m (Jan 2024: £959m) and made a profit before tax of £32.2m (Jan 2024: £18.9m).

The net cash position climbed to £126m at year-end (Jan 2024: £94m).

Stronger growth is expected this year, with revenue of £1,247m being forecasted for the year to January 2026.

During the past year Winvic started 29 new projects in the industrial & logistics (I&L) sector and completed 19 schemes, taking the company past the milestone of 100 million sq ft of space constructed since its formation in 2001 by Simon Girardier, Simon Hunt and Dave Ward.

During the year it also completed three build-to-rent residential developments and purpose-built  student accommodation scheme, surpassing 12,500 beds handed over by year-end.

Initially a beds-to-sheds specialist, Winvic has branched out into infrastructure in recent years. Last year it completed five civil engineering projects and started three new standalone schemes.

The year also saw an ownership restructure, with members of the current management team becoming shareholders.

Winvic Group includes Winvic Construction, Sitecrete and a 49% shareholding in Premier Plant.

“The group remains in a strong cash position with no debt and a robust pipeline of long-term work in progress,” summarised chief executive Simon Girardier.
